There's been a shitload of foul calls in this game. It's pretty balanced (33 Oregon St 38 Ok St), but frustrating to watch.

It's looking like the big 12 wasn't very good outside of Baylor. I think USC beats Kansas tomorrow, and Gonzaga of course over Oklahoma.

Would be nice if the SEC could get 3 teams in the sweet 16, I will be pulling for LSU but they will have to be on fire to beat Michigan.

So far the 8 teams in the sweet sixteen you have by conference

SEC - 1 - Arkansas
Pac 12 - 1 - Oregon State
Big 12 - 1 - Baylor
Big East - 1 - Villanova
Acc - 1 - Syracuse
American - 1 - Houston
Missouri Valley - 1 - Loyola Chicago
Summitt - 1 - Oral Roberts

Arkansas is favored by 11 vs Oral Roberts, and they have already beaten them once this year. Their path to the elite 8 is looking good.

So, none yet from the mighty B1G.
Let's do our part to keep it that way.

If we lose tomorrow then it wasn’t meant to be. Maryland is a team that I’d compare to Florida or Tennessee. They play hard, but they don’t have enough oomph to beat us unless we just play really bad.

I’d love to have a really good game and just blow them out, but i hope we save that for the sweet 16 or Elite 8. We don’t really play extremely well in consecutive games much anymore.

We should beat them with an average game.

Could say the same about UCLA as well. If we don’t make the Elite 8 with this draw, will be a tad disappointing

We played a 15 seed and now have a 10 and the winner of an 11/14.

If we screw this up, it's 100% on us.

This is about the when Turgeon flames out of the tournament.

That UConn win was by far his best tournament win, before that it was an 11 seed belmont.

I know we have bigger fish to fry today but I went into Torvik and looked at the transfers (they have a database tab for it) and then qualified them by the following criteria that are important to us as a program

- Stats vs Top 175 opponents
- Defensive Rating less than 100.0
- Offensive Rating more than 100.0
- 3PT % > 32%
- 3P/100 Possessions > 5 (meaning they actually shoot them semi-regularly)
- Usage rate > 15%
- 3 games at least
- Minutes > 50%

Here are the guys that popped out (ranked by Box Plus/Minus)

1. Myreon Jones (6-3, Jr) (Penn State)
2. Terrell Brown Jr (6-3, Sr) (Arizona)*
3. Tyson Walker (6-0, So) (Northeastern)
4. Xavier Johnson (6-3, Jr) (Pitt)
5. Elijah Joiner (6-3, Sr) (Tulsa)*
6. Aljami Durham (6-4, Sr) (Indiana)*
7. KJ Buffen (6-7, Jr) (Ole Miss)
8. Cooper Neese (6-4, Jr) (Indiana State)

* Grad Transfer

Just some names to keep in mind

They play good perimeter defense and dont foul much. So, it sets up to be a tight game according to many of the odds makers. Most of them think the final score will be in the 60s. They refer to Ala as a declining offense.

LSU. Hate Michigan/Big10 way more and don't want them to have the satisfaction of beating an SEC team
