13 of 23 from the FT line with multiple missed front ends was big.
I think otherwise it wasn't as bad.
Another 6 points or so from free throws makes this game much larger of a win

Q doesn't need to start. 11 or 12 consecutive games in double figures...the problem with the first group is turnovers and that's it. JP hit a three earlier and like two possessions later he took a bad three which knocked his rhythm and touch off. That's his problem right now. He'll take a good three then a terrible one without getting his rhythm and touch going!

Told you guys, nothing to worry about in the second half

Started off rough but finished as well as you could hope. I’d rather see my team finish a win strong than hanging on for dear life while sucking.

I was Oats, I'd find a vacant gym right now, and take 'em to shoot free throws...seriously.

Good call coach. Because they can totally do that right now

I enjoy watching Quinerly about as much as any Bama player in the last 10 years.

Indeed. I don't have much confidence going into the next game. Sucks, but this game pretty much killed it.

We needed a last second free throw to beat SIU years ago. Ended up in the Elite 8.

It's all about surviving. Just get the W. By 1 or 30, don't care.

Tough game, but survive and advance. That’s the name of the game in March. Monday is a new day.

I expect us to come out strong in round 2

I think at times we should just run a clear out for Quinerly like we did for Sexton. He can beat pretty much beat anyone off the dribble.

I think everyone, including the roster, knows this

Well, that was “fun.” Time for Bohannon’s boys to take down Arkansas.

I’m hoping with half the teams leaving we can get more time to put up shots. Oats said we didn’t have much time to do that because they were so many teams

Have UCONN won yet? I don't think so...as long as our DEFENSE and EFFORT on point then we will be good versus EVERYBODY! NegaBammers stand down!

You don't think adding your best ball handler to the first group might help that?

I know we all dog Reese but he had two HUGE threes today that may very well have been the difference in the game given when he made them. As for Petty, I would love to know his +/- for this game but if we are going to make a deep run we HAVE to have him playing well. Lack of confidence for a shooter is a killer and I am afraid that is where he is right now.

Well we certainly shouldn't be overconfident headed into the next game.

We shoot close our season average and it’s an additional 7-8 points. It was definitely huge.
