So far LSU is getting back in transition a lot better than they did the first two times we played. But if we force them to take a bunch of mid-range 2s and 30 foot 3s and they make a lot of them then it's just not our day.

They aren't a good defensive team but they're playing much harder on that end. As good as they are on offense that alone makes them scary.

Just when I was thrilled to see him pull back in transition and kick it out to Reese, instead of 2 on 1 layup attempt. I'll give that shot attempts a mulligan, since he's had a hot hand to start.
That's when Oats calling more timeouts could try to correct those decision before they occur 3 possessions in a row.

These rims just don't seem to like us much. Feels like we have had a dozen 3s go halfway down and pop out in this tournament.

It seems like they’ve corrected a lot of their defensive issues. They put the clamps down on a good Arkansas offense yesterday, in the 2nd half, and have been pretty solid so far today.
