Yeah we contested everything that half. A little loose with the basketball and we will try to take it from you - doesn’t matter if it’s Reese or Gary or Herb or JQ.

Herb was outstanding in every way, but really it’s hard to single a guy out that half - everyone was good.

As usual, the scoring is fairly spread out for Alabama. Eight different players have baskets and five different players have scored threes.

We are getting all the loose balls as well, always a good sign.

I've just never seen that level of consistent, focused intensity and execution from an Alabama basketball team before. Ever.

That was Alabama in an early Saban era national title game level.

State will probably come out of the half even more tired too after we ran them off the floor in the first. We have used a LOT of players so we should still be fresh.

Yes, that defense looked like Saban’s old defenses.

Are we resting Bruner?

I didn't recall seeing him, but missed the1st few minutes.

He has played, but unless State manages to cut the lead down to single digits I'd rather he be a spectator the rest of the way.

Honestly I'd prefer to sit as many guys the last 10-15 as possible as to not have them play sloppy for 5 minutes in a blowout and lose their momentum.

Looks like we aren’t getting the one seed from Michigan, they are going off right now.

We need Illinois to lose now.

Let's check in on Dane Bradshaw again and see how he is handling the game at halftime.

Juwan Howard was ejected for apparently trying to fight the Maryland coach.
