Sounds just like The return of Gilligans Island. You know they get rescued, make it back to civilization, and decide to take another boat ride. No way it could happen again. But sure enough not only are they shipwrecked but they are shipwrecked on the same island.
Bama basketball... dont do it bruh. Dont wind up back on that boat.

You know damn we’ll Alabama Basketball will do just enough to pull you back in just when all hope is lost. You think they’d just let the bball fans focus on being productive during January-March?

I mean last year it looked like we were driving straight for the tourney before falling apart at the end of the regular season and needing desperate SEC tourney victories to clinch a spot. Life comes at Bama Basketball fast.

I've ridden this ride for 3 years now, let me tell you how it goes. Early out of season conference play usually goes ok, a couple of good looking wins but also always a couple of inexplicable losses to teams that are decent but that we should beat. This year, those 2 losses that make you scratch your head are Northeastern and Ga State. We are winding down OOC play and will start conference play soon. We'll go about .500 in conference play, give or take and be squarely on the bubble in February. We will have a chance to play our way in down the stretch but we will fade and swoon in crucial games and fall short of the Dance only to land in the NIT. Lather, rinse, repeat. This is Avery basketball. BUCKLE UP!

Just skip the nonsense and take solace in Gymnastics season starting in a few weeks.

This is as dead on Alabama basketball as it gets. When good things happen, horrible things are sure to follow.

Dammit I'm want us to be good so bad, memories of Pettway, Dudley, Antonio, Winston, Wallace and so many other got me feeling a bit nostalgic.

As bad as it gets sometimes you should never quit on the team.

Where do we play Vandy this year? I know I can look it up myself, and I will. But if it's in Nashville, I'll go ahead and write a "L" down on the schedule. The chances of that are just as likely as the sun coming up tomorrow. If it's at home, we have a chance.
