Yea looking at his highlights he looks good. Probably just needs to get use to the college game.

I know he struggled overall, but his ceiling is still there and he fits the system. Hes definitely a depth piece for this upcoming year, but he was a top 20 player in a ridiculously stacked highschool class. He oozes talent. He also appeared to get absolutely zero coaching.
My main question is, where do we play him. If we keep Allen and Jemison, along with our recruiting class, we have wings everywhere. He's a bit shorter than most of those guys, but they all play the 2 some as well. S do we play JJ as the backup 1 or the 2?

If Allen comes back he will be running point.

Just to clear up your phrasing, youre saying Allen will be the starting PG, correct?
I could definitely see that, I think he could do it at a high level. Needs to get a bit better at driving with the ball in his hands, has some bad habits in traffic. Depending on who we have in the back court, would be a team with tremendous size. I think selling Allen on learning the position is our best bet for retaining him too. Come back, show the NBA you can do it, and be a top 5 pick as a 6'8/6'9 PG.

Biz will. He case is either gonna get thrown out because the warrant was bullshite or it’s gonna get pled down to a Misdemeanor

Personally I think Allen enters the draft and the portal at the same time and goes to the highest bidder as a one year rental if he doesn't get the feedback he wants from the NBA. Just a gut feeling.

Sherrell officially in portal w/ no contact tag.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Shame what the game has turned into. He is gonna take the 1 time payday to play in a Non NBA system.

I just dont think he is a good enough decision maker to be able to trust him as the primary PG.
Both on and off the court. He's also too small defensively.

If he ain’t wearing Crimson I hope he fails hard at his next stop.

Has anyone left a succeeded/surpassed their stats here?
I think people underestimate the Oats system. Damn short sighted decision but oh well.

Jaden Bradley?

Dude cant jump and is just flat out weak around the rim with the basketball. The slightest touch around the rim and he can’t hold onto the ball.

Bradley would have done better here. Our system is more built for Guards than Arizona.
Only person I can think of was better when they left was Nimari Burnett

I don’t blame Bradley for leaving considering the situation. Hard to say he got better at Arizona. We played him as a true freshman on a loaded team. Could make the argument he would have had better numbers if he stayed. Who knows.

I could maybe understand if Sherrell ends up at Michigan or even Michigan St. being from there. But LSU would be beyond dumb.

Seems like even Kentucky fans think Donnie Freeman may be ours though.

I don’t hold it against him if he goes to Michigan St. the same way I didn’t hold Stevenson for going to UNC. Speaking of players not progressing under a new coach.. probably a different stat line for him if he stuck it out with Oats and company…

Yes. Well, he’ll starts hopefully with Biz and they’ll both do point like things. Allen knows the system and actually brought the ball up and facilitated a good bit.
If we’re trying to get bigger then you make a big step toward that by having a 6’6” point.

Will not happen. Allen will be at Alabama or in the NBA. I’ll self ban if he transfers. Which will be fine because I’ll also give up on life
In all seriousness though probably more than any out of state player besides Mallette the kid loves Alabama.
