Was hoping for him to come around but he really fit the profile of a guy who usually transfers after their freshman season of riding the pine.

Bethea strikes me as a guy who is too dumb to be a great basketball player past high school. Nobody likes saying it but I'm built different.

Kentucky insider said that Alabama was barely talking to Wilkins before he committed. Honestly don't understand that...

I don’t understand letting Davion hit the portal if we weren’t getting Wilkins. Davion is a lot better than a lot of options left.

Kind of makes me think we took Hunter's commitment (was supposed to visit this weekend) instead of waiting on Wilkins and we're taking some of the money we're saving to spend on someone else? I don't know. Unless we are in on someone I haven't heard about, I would have much rather gotten Wilkins. Dude is a stud (Pope will find a way to make him look bad though).

getting cloer and jemison staying probably sealed it for him. competing with them, a stacked freshman class, and if amari returns then his role wouldve most likely been pretty limited. jaxon in particular is another crazy athlete who people seem to think has good defensive upside with more expectations in general, so i can see why. all the best to hannah though. i do think hell become a solid player.

I think Wilkins and Freeman both hurt. Those are difference makers. I think the kid from Central Arkansas needs a waiver doesn’t he?

Gonna be tough if we don’t land a single bonafide - not projecting - starter at guard or center. We don’t have a legit NBA starter caliber guard next season like we did this season. We’re going to need more from every position because we don’t have two, experienced, clutch late-game scorers.

Yes and I doubt he gets one if he commits to us. I'm really not sure what our options are at this point. Try to get in late with one of the uncommitted guards still in the portal? Probably have to make up a lot of ground.

I’m thinking we’re boned. Came in thinking our COLA bump on NIL was sufficient when everyone just saw Michigan buy a natty with a starting lineup of mercenaries.

They're going to try to play him and Diallo together and it'll be a disaster. No way he went there to be a backup.
