Was just about to post that.
Rumors have been trolling us a lot this week.

frick it, sign him up. I mean I try not to take too much out of a highlight video (against weak looking competition) but he looks like a big, athletic wing and we could use the numbers.

Our whole staff is watching McIntosh tonight. If Howland thought he was good enough and had him out there for an official visit, I think he's probably good enough for us.

I also just read an article that said Hipsher was watching his game a few days ago. He must have liked what he saw.

McIntosh's coach says he plays some PG for them. He must have good ball skills even though it's just the high school level LINK

So he's 6'6", has basically the skill set of a 3, and a good enough handle to run the offense for his HS team. I don't understand why he's a 3 star anymore. If he were the undersized power forward who wasn't a good rebounder and struggled to score in the paint that the ESPN scouting report said, I'd get it. But as Bird said earlier, he seems to basically be Tony Mitchell.
ETA: Just read your link...apparently he fricked up his ankle really bad last April and missed all of the summer camps. That would explain a lot of it.

Yeah. That obviously hurt him offer wise. I'll be interested to see if he can do well tonight with Grant watching. That's gotta be a lot of pressure.

Also, has anyone posted the Coleman and Mitchell updates from 247? If not, someone do that.

Yea, Grant yelling at him to slow it down from the stands might throw him off his game.

He actually looks like a more skilled Mitchell, but it's only highlight videos. He has a deadly spin move layup. His jumper may not be up to Mitchell's level before he left, but it can't be much worse than Mitchell's his freshmen year.

Well according to a article i read he really just started working on his shot so it may take some time. As you can see in his video his jump shot is a set shot. Doesnt look like he can just pull up shoot yet.

I wonder why we backed off of Kendal Harris. Wasnt he high on us at one time?
Posted on 3/28/13 at 9:03 pm to Tide or Die87
I thought he took us off of his list

Oh ok cool makes sense. I just dont get Grant sometimes. I just wish I knew what he likes in players because we wont offer a kid but he will go to a school that is known more for basketball than we are. Like we need a PG in this class and we couldve went after T. Jorgenson or C. Elder but they go to G Tech and Miami. Now this class I believe its one of the times he needs to put all his eggs in the basket and go for Colemon and he is all over the place looking at guards.

Piedmont (Ala.) Hokes Bluff School Center Isaac Haas has a tall task ahead of him. Trying to narrow down a list of offers that includes the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Butler, Baylor, Florida State, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia among others, Haas plans to add even more offers to his list over the summer.
“I haven’t really narrowed it down yet,” Haas told NY2LASPORTS.COM Sunday night. “I’m going to probably cut it down to 20. I’m looking to stand out in AAU this year and get more offers.”
Haas added he’d like to be recruited to by Arizona, Duke, and Virginia Tech, three schools he’ll try and pick up offers from during the grassroots season.
The 7-1 center broke down many of his offers with NY2LASPORTS.COM:
Alabama: “They’re very disciplined. They have a lot of good players, tough players with good attitudes. It’s really a lot like my high schools. I like Coach Anthony Grant. He’s a good guy. I enjoy watching their games.”
Auburn: “Coach (Tony) Barbee has a pretty decent team. He’s trying to build something there. I enjoyed the campus. The academics are really good. I think they’re going to start building something there. I just like the school.”
Baylor: “They are a very good academic and sports school. They haven’t really told me much since they offered. I’ve watched them and they’re disciplined. They’re a little bit flashy. I like that though. It stands out more in my mind. Their coach (Scott Drew) is very disciplined.”
Clemson: “I visited up there not too long ago. They were really great. I like their players. They fight for the ball there. They have a lot of passion and discipline. The big man coach seems to do really good work with his guys. I enjoyed being up there.”
Georgia: “I love the campus, it’s great. Their coach (Mark Fox) is a good guy. They work the ball around into the post. Academically they’re a great school.”
Kansas: “They keep in really good touch with me. They really want me down there. I haven’t had a chance to visit there, but the more I see on screen, Bill Self has done a really good job with his team. They’re very disciplined. They work hard—the big guys. It’s somewhere they feed the ball into the big guys.”
Kentucky: “The offer was a long time ago. I haven’t heard from them since. They said they offered and they’d keep in touch, but it’s been two and a half months.”
Louisville: “They are really good academically. I stopped by and watched a game. It was fun. They’re very disciplined.”
Mississippi: “I like their coach (Andy Kennedy). I have a lot of friends down there. Their academics are great. Sports-wise, they’re really standing out. I like the spirit some of the players have. That’s a pretty good school.”
Stanford: “I just recently got some feedback from them and they’re really impressed with me. I’ve always heard how Stanford basketball is impressive. They have extremely good academics being ranked worldwide in schools.”
Texas: “Their defense is extraordinary. It kind of reminds me about my high school too. We’re all about defense. Their academics are pretty good and they handle themselves well.”
Tennessee: “They’re a great school. They have a good sports program. I saw the facilities, they’re nice. They’re looking to build something there.”
Although his offer list is very long and expected to grow shortly, Haas knows a few schools that will make his cut.
“Schools that I know for sure are going to make it are Kansas, Clemson, Alabama, Mississippi, Baylor, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Stanford, and Harvard,” he said.
Haas plays for the Atlanta Celtics during the grassroots travel season.

Agreed. Their should be heavy attention directed at Sina right now. It's out in the open that Indiana is in contact with him but he maintains he's focused on us, SH and NW. According to Pujols's wife, they realize he would be a major addition. Be all in on Coleman for next year too. We've gotta add some players that get it. Basketball smarts. Getting Sina, and/ or Coleman, And Norris to go along with Hale this year would give us some smart basketball players. That all starts at the point for me. By the way, anyone know what happened to Severe? Did he just eliminate us period?
Posted on 3/28/13 at 10:58 pm to Th3One31
Yea he eliminated us totally.

Kinda sucks. Christ the King has produced talent in the past. Plus, maybe the NY connection with Sina could've made a difference.
