Do you mean Justin Colemon and what kind of practice is it? AAU practice or something?

Yeah Justin Coleman and at the Georgia Stars AAU practice.

I wonder why we haven't gotten a commit from Coleman yet. By all accounts he's a huge Bama fan. If he doesn't have a legit offer we are just stupid. Yeah he's short, but he's also the kind of guy we need at PG to negate Grant's offensive Xs and Os ineptitude.

Hey Bryant, I was just looking over the help board and saw where you made a request for this sig. I was bored so I threw this together. Let me know what you think, I know you made that request quite some time ago.

I did a quick scan of the Rivals 150. Only about 26 of those guys have committed. I'd expect that to change around May. Hopefully Coleman will pull the trigger soon and get the ball rolling for 2014.

I mean the last day for us to get 2013 guys hasnt even stopped yet. I wish he would commit. Seems like he is cool with all the recruits in the state as well. Could go a long way for shutting down the state.

Kind of why I want him to go ahead and commit. That way he can start working on guys like Haas, Lee, and Norris. The 2014 in state crop is actually pretty solid and I'd like to see us land a few of them.

Maybe just waiting to see what happens in the 2013 class. Jimmie Taylor was about the most blatant Bama-bound, non-committed recruit I can remember, and he still waited until the 2012 class was pretty much settled.

We need to lock down all 3 of those guys you named plus Colemon and a 2 and that would be great.

Won't be signing 5 unless someone transfers. As it stands now we have only 4 scholarships, and I see us signing a combo-guard or a 2 here in the late period. My dream scenario would be to sign Sina in the late period and sign Coleman, one of Lee/Haas/Turman, and one of McIntosh(2013)/Hill/Gant/Oubre.

Were going to need a 2 in this or next years class because it looks like the 2 we sign this year will be from Juco.

Yea I know, it's why I listed Sina in that scenario. If we sign Sina we need someone with some length for the 3 spot.

The 2014 class is going to be pretty critical. If Grant manages to do well enough next season to keep his job, he needs to fill a lot of needs. I honestly wouldn't mind pushing for Coleman, Haas, and Lee from the start and hoping that we can get someone like Hill or Jackson if (more like when at this point) we miss on Sina. Guys like Turman and Gant may be slightly better prospects than Lee and Haas, but this is a situation like when you are in the midst of a long slump and know you can get a 6 but think you can get an 8. Better to take the 6 home and break your slump than go for the 8, miss, and watch the 6 go home with some douchebag.

To me what we should do depends on how we finish the 2013 class:
If we sign noone, we need to land Coleman, 1 or 2 wings, and 1 or 2 posts.
If we sign a JUCO Guard, we need to land Coleman, 1 wing, and 1 post.
If we sign Sina, we need to land Coleman, 1 wing with some size, and 1 post.
If we sign McIntosh, we need to land Coleman, 1 SG, and 1 post.
If we sign both McIntosh and Sina/JUCO guard, we need to land Coleman, and 1 post.
EDIT:
So basically, after wasting time typing all that out:
If we sign one person we've heard of in the 2013 class, the only thing that changes between those scenarios is what type of wing we go after.
If we sign 2 players we've heard of, we just go after Coleman and a post.
If we sign noone, it's a little more flexible on what we sign as long as we land Coleman...
