I really didn't want Severe. That probably means he'll end up an NBA Legend.

This is what some dude at the game said about McIntosh:
@JoshWYMT: @Bryant91092 It was tough to get a read. Officials had a tight hold. You can tell he's very talented though & has loads of potential.

With Alabama just bouncing from the NIT tournament, Key said he could take a visit to see Anthony Grant’s program as soon as this weekend or the week after the Final Four. “For me, I have to have a lot of trust in the coaches and get the right fit,” said Key who will have two years to play at the Division I level. “You know playing style is important but every team likes to get up and down and play fast paced. It’s about the coahes and my relationship with them. My family will help me decide.” Algie Key is an Atlanta, Georgia native. He graduated from Lakeside High School. He is the 12th ranked junior college player in the country.
TCU's scout site had an update with Key. The only schools they mentioned were us, TCU, and Georgia.

@JonRothstein: A big figure in the Jaren Sina situation? Freddie Hill. Fmr RU HC recruited Sina to Northwestern. Will be he stay on staff in Evanston?
I've seen a lot of NU columnists and fans talk about this as well. FWIW most of the opinions I've heard after the Collins hire think he will stay.

I wonder what the difference is then? Key has okay offers and Lee has great offers.

My guess is that it's because Key's 3pt shot is shite. 14.7% from deep this season.

he mentioned playing style..I don't like this comment as anyone can see Bama BB is offensively challenged. Joe Dean Jr mentioned this today and said AG is smart enough to self evaluation. This might be true but why did he not self evaluation mid season

ND fans are getting tired of Mike Brey.

Kind of did. We still play slow, but not as slow as we had played most of the season.

@NMedlineFOX: Have word that Seton Hall now leads Jaren Sina's recruitment. Not sure when the former #Northwestern commit plans to meet with Chris Collins
@AdamZagoria: Jaren Sina will meet with new Northwestern coach Chris Collins after the tournament, source tells @SNYtv

If we lose out to Seton Hall on this kid, then something is wrong. I know it's local but that never mattered to him in the past. That will not be a relevant program anytime soon. I pray these coaches are constantly telling this kid how bad we need a leader, a floor general and someone who wants to take big shots without fear.i can't help to believe Sina has no idea what he wants to do. He was looking for an excuse to decommit from us and it was probably the same situation with NW. That kinda tells me he will come to whatever coaching staff that shows him the most love. At some point, we have to just work harder.

Key must be an assist machine if his shot is that bad.

From the espn Alford to UCLA article

quote:
Two former UCLA assistants and current head coaches -- NC State's Mark Gottfried and Washington's Lorenzo Romar -- had also been said to be on the Bruins' list.

Jaren Sina also has shown that a program being terrible hasn't hurt the school's chances with him either. Hence the NW commitment. He actually said it was one of the main reasons he committed to NW. He wants to build something. When I saw that quote, it actually made me wonder if we were even shitty enough for him.

Grant totally dropped a load by not getting a big in 2012, but stop with the rhetoric. We showed the dude the love and he committed then decommitted. The entire staff when to his house for a visit. Should they have offered him a handy as well? There are a couple of things I'd like to see change regarding our recruiting strategy, but Grant not working hard enough is not one of them.

The kid just doesn't want to live in the South. I can't imagine why the hell anyone would actually want to live in New Jersey, much less Newark, but whatever.
