Not saying we wouldn't be open to the idea of it. Just not sure how Sina would look at it. And now if we signed Sina as well, we are probably pissing on Coleman as an option.

Who knows maybe we would have won more games if people took open shots. Hell, sign him up!

Sina and Tarrant can play both guard spots. Coleman is a pure PG. Then Tarrant wouldn't play next year and would be in his last year of eligibility when Coleman is a freshman. I guess it depends on how they all look at it and how good of a job the staff does selling them on playing together, but I don't see any problems with all 3 coexisting on the same roster.

We just need guys who know how to play the game. Our guys dont know how to move the ball. I believe that Lacey stops the ball at the top of the key on purpose multiple times so he can get the iso. JMHO.

Someone probably just needs to educate me on transfer rules, but won't Tarrant still have the 2 years of eligibility left? That wouldn't look nearly as bad if he only would be here for a year.

Even if he has 2 years of eligibilty left I don't see a problem with it from my point of view, but for a recruit it might seem daunting.

Yeah. I just suck at math. He will have the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons. So he'd be here for Coleman's freshman and sophomore seasons. Regardless, every guard on our current roster besides Retin will be moving on over the next 2 years, so it isn't as if there won't be plenty of minutes to go around.

So 2015, we'd have Levi, Lacey, Cooper, Moose, Swede, and Jacobs as seniors with Retin, Tarrant, and Pollard as juniors. Plus Hale, Taylor, and whoever else.

Does anyone know why he is transferring? I mean is he just doing it to play here or is it a reason like a family issue? If so he wont have to sit out a year. Remember that happening with the Auburn fullback they got last year.

For the 2014-2015 season, yes.

EDIT: NVM. Missed Moussa.

2013-2014 seniors: Releford, Moussa, maybe Carl*
2014-2015 seniors: Levi, Lacey, Cooper, Jacobs, maybe Carl*
2015-2016 seniors: Pollard, Retin

*I don't know if Carl got a medical redshirt for this season. I think he was close to the cutoff point for eligibility.

Everything I heard is that he will sit out a year. The guy who sent that first tweet about it claimed to know someone close to Tarrant and says that is his plan.

That's right. I always get screwed up on Moose's eligibility; I want to give him 2 years of eligibility for only sitting out 1 year.

I believe that Carl is eligible for a medical

If Pollard is ready for any pro ball, much less the NBA, next year it will be the biggest offseason improvement in the history of organized sports.

No he didn't. He looked like a freshman in over his head. An improvement over the guy who looked like basketball was new to him, but not even close to one of our best players.

Unless he improves his handle and jumper he will never make an NBA roster though. He's not a banger so being an undersized power forward is out of the question. He will have to be a 3.

We saw a couple of glimpses of his potential late in the season but he still has a long, long way to go
