@courtcred: Rashawn Pookie Powell always liked Memphis from the jump, now its official. Will see time immediately...

Can't say definitively that we did pass on him. I would guess so, but maybe he just liked Memphis better.

Someone just reported that Barber committed to NC State. I hope Gottfried gets run over by a bus.

Hopefully JaJuan Johnson doesn't commit to Miami this weekend and we really go after him. Our coaches will find someone to get at PG hopefully. I just hope they don't settle for an Eblen type player.

What the hell happened with Cat? Has he been lying to our staff the entire time? Do we even get the official now?

I would just wait until next year. Retin or Lacey may have to play point unless we get a stud 2014 PG, but no sense in wasting a 4 yr scholarship for a likely patch job kid.

No he wasn't lying, he just got a better "offer" from that assclown we used to call a coach.

The rumor is we stopped recruiting him because he stole things on his visit at Louisville. Idk if I believe that but it would help to explain why he didnt visit us before committing.

I asked Jody Demling and he says he thinks us and Kansas told Barber no thanks.

It has to be that we told him no thanks. No way NC State just comes out of nowhere.

That makes a whole lot of sense. Louisville's whole "Barber didn't mesh with the team" nonsense didn't make sense to me. Who steals stuff on a damn visit?

Ghetto trash. Not surprising that Gottfried would welcome him with open arms.

Yeah he stole things at a party. Not sure if it was from random people or the teammates, but either way he stole stuff. That means we whiffed on Pookie...we didn't tell him no

Yea from what I saw people saying after his commitment, I wasn't so sure we did tell him no. Apparently ex-NBA PG Damon Stoudamire was the lead recruiter. And from what ive seen the two have a similar style of play.
