So I guess he won't be visiting? We really need Retin to step up.

Looking ahead to 2014, Justin Coleman seems like he'd be a lock at PG. I just hope he grows a little.

Isn't Auburn the favorite for him?

If Bama got Cat, that sounds right. If he is our top priority he will be at Bama IMO

Auburn does have a 5'9" PG commit his year. Hard to sell that.

That's true

@EHoopsShowcase: Georgetown was in to see Tim Quarterman today. George Mason, LSU and Alabama coming in later this week.

BTW I'm looking at some of the solid PGs still left and there's one that might fit well as a patch job, but could slide to SF or SG later on. Tim Quarterman is actually listed as a PG on ESPN, lives in GA, and he is also on the rise so he hasn't been receiving high major intersest for a long time. Not exactly a perfect run-and-gun PG we would like, but his versatility would help.

Odds are against us. He visited LSU this past weekend and will visit George Mason for midnight madness. Dan McDonald told me not to be surprised if he ends up at George Mason do to the family connections he has with Hewitt. It's crucial we get him to officially visit for us to have any shot. I don't have much confidence that we'll get him. We jumped in really late.

We jumped in late, but high-major teams have just started showing interest. Not a great chance we land him, but if we can get him on a visit ill start liking our chances much better.

Grant hasn't visited William Lee this month. I don't like blowing off talented kids from your home state but I guess he likes some other guys a lot more.

Anyone have ESPN insider and can see what Greg wrote in his update about where we go now for basketball recruiting?

He talked about how we lost out on our PG targets, and siad that Tim Quarterman is our only Point Guard target left but added he thinks we wait until next year to get a PG.Also he said we are in good shape with JaJuan Johnson but Miami could be a theat. And we will be in it until the end with Roberson and Martin.Oh, and said we have no chance with Troy Williams any more.

He didn't even know that until I told him He's too occupied with football recruiting these days.
