I agree. It's not worth the pain plus paying for it. Not because $4 is a problem. It's the principle of the thing.

Glad I'm not the only one who felt that way.

How bad is attendance, really? It looks like maybe 200 students are there.
It was so-so. It felt like a pre-SEC game. But it was expected on a Tuesday night. The food was shitty though. And just as expensive. Overall it was fun if you had nothing better to do, but still a waste of a night.

Rooting for Stanford. SFA has a beast post player. Kid averages like 16ppg on NCAA leading 70% shooting, 9 RPG, and 2.2 BPG. Only way I'd feel comfortable playing them is if Moussa can stay in most of the game.

Does anyone know what the round 2 schedule is going to look like? It says on the bracket that it's from March 21-25.

I'm rooting for Stanford just because I'd rather see us play a name like Stanford than SFA. Hopefully we'll get a better turnout these next two games if we get Stanford and Maryland.

Turnout will be horrible again.... during Spring Break.

Too bad we can't be +12 on the boards every game. It was great getting 2nd chance points for a change.

SFA missed a shot at the buzzer so we play Stanford next.

I watched some of the game. I was impressed with Stanford's PG. Anyone know much about them though?

They're very experienced in the NIT having won it last year

Only saw a couple minutes of it, but their big man with the fro played pretty well while I was watching.

Maryland and Denver are playing right now. NIT committee and ESPN clearly hate Alabama for giving our third round opponent two extra days of rest and preparation.

Not to mention the bracket we were put in.
They could've done the same thing and given us a 2 seed though.

I like our bracket, I'm glad we have the chance for some big name schools to come in. That's probably the coolest thing about the NIT, getting home games against people like Maryland that you normally don't see. I remember a few years ago when UNC played at UAB and it was like the best thing to ever happen at Bartow Arena

Watching some of these games and I just can't help but thinking that regardless of all our offensive issues if we could have just been a solid rebounding team we would be in the tournament.
