I remember they beat us for the title in 1983 with the battery of Roger Clemons and Calvin Schiraldi. Dave Magadan tried to win it for us but the duo was too good.

Fellas. First trip to Omaha in 27 years and we have fans melting down. Bad day. Oklahoma was just better. Enjoy the success because we have been in the offseason this time of year for 27 years.

Hopefully nowhere. He’s been pitching so long for us that I mistakenly thought he was a senior. Adams and Upchurch is a pretty decent start to a weekend rotation next season, just need to stay healthy and hopefully develop an ace that can sustain 95+ through 6 innings.

If Vaughn ever saw dollar signs somewhere else, I’d feel a lot better about Skylar Meade waiting on deck.

Upchurch gave up 1 hit through 5.1 against Texas at their place earlier in the year.
Adams held them in check, but he gave up 5 hits through 6.

Think it comes to an end today but hoping we can find a way to win a close one like game 3 in Austin. Our bats are just so anemic against quality pitching.
