This. With the brutal bracket (not that are any easy games in Omaha) it was going to be incredibly difficult to get thru to the championship series anyway.
I'm just happy we got the Omaha monkey off our back. Any win we get on this trip to Omaha is gravy. Here's to hoping we got most of our bad at bats out of our system against OU. Texas pitching is elite but surely we can’t look much worse at the plate than we did against OU

Completely agreed. We got this far with the roster we have is amazing. This is the momentum starter we needed to get more attention to the program that can help us out in the future. Maybe we pick up even better portal signings and the in-state talent will actually look at us instead of AU and Miss St and Tennessee

Vaughn has the lineup and staff on auto pilot. He doesn’t really change much of anything. We didn’t pitch off against Alabama St and it ended up working out ok thank god.
