I don’t disagree with your logic but I also know at this point, with zero margin for error, you have to play to win the next game. Yes, we will need guys to step up and have their A games that have rarely, especially lately, shown it.

Did Wright St really just pull their starter after six innings of no hit baseball?

Offense sucked today. Three runs in one inning. Six hits against a frosh pitcher who consistently got us out on two-strike sliders. Not much adjustment at the plate.

FYI Clemson and Ole Miss both threw off against 4 seeds today and both are in deep shite early. Obviously plenty of game left, but both have work to do.

That dude absolutely shoved today. He was able to put his slider anywhere he wanted it. Top Shelf? Hit it. Back door to lefties? Nailed it over and over. Break it off the plate to righties? Money.
He was able to throw his fastball for strikes when he wanted and they were quality strikes. He mixed up his approach to batters on different times throughout he order. He threw strikes with a lot of movement and we couldn't square him up.
Gotta tip your hat.

And, So Miss did not take Columbia seriously and now trail 6-1 in the 4th.

So Miss losing tonight would be the death nail to our season. Their #1 is still waiting in the wings.

Our #1 wasn’t that great today. Maybe theirs won’t be either. Honestly I’d rather them lose and have to beat them once and then have to come through and beat Columbia twice.

Actually Southern Miss losing tonight opens a path up. You only have to beat them once. Then you outslug Miami and Columbia
Posted on 5/30/25 at 9:41 pm to bamacj1999
I would rather face their number 1 than Miami’s.

Columbia dog-walked Southern Miss 11-4. We play USM at 2:00 tomorrow in an elimination game.
Posted on 5/30/25 at 10:23 pm to Alabama_Fan
So we get Southern Miss tomorrow.
It’s Fay time
Need him to go deep
Like 9 innings deep

Did anyone hear Rob Vaughns moronic response to why he didn’t pinch hit for Neal in the 8th?
I love Alabama baseball more than any other Bama sport. It runs deep in my blood. But we have no chance with this kind of ineptitude

It's death knell dumbass. Anyone with a working brain would rather have to beat Miami or Columbia twice than Southern Miss.

Well? What was it?

I’ve said it a lot but Vaughn is NOT a good coach. Why is Neal hitting in that situation? Why not Stanton? Why not anyone but Neal? He’s too stupid.
Imagine being a coach that squeezed 41 wins out of a 30 win team and some fans call you a bad coach. Look at the hitting stats...Bama is bottom barrel in the SEC. We have 2 or 3 relief pitchers with a pulse...41 wins, winning SEC record

Yep. Vaughn has done a great job IMO. Hope he is here a long time
