Any of my big hitters have green light on 3-0 unless they are struggling. Fowler, Neal and LeBron would all have the green light.

I think sitting may have helped LeBron. I wanted them to pull him earlier in the year. Sometimes great hitters start pushing too hard when they’re struggling and sitting and watching can help get their head straight.

Great night at the park. Too many Ole Miss fans for my liking, but I was right at the visitors dugout.

Well yes of course. But 3-0 and no where to put runners they’ve got green light. Thats also why depending on situation I sometimes will not steal a runner to second with 3-5 coming up. If you open a base pitchers will not give in but if you know you’re putting a runner in scoring position to throw around a great hitter pitchers tend to not throw around hitters.

We’ve allowed this OM pitcher to get ahead in the count every batter swinging at ghosts. Guy is pitching a hell of a game but he’s getting a lot of help from us.
