It’s such a gut punch that we end our 9th with a missile hit directly at their 3rd baseman for a run-saving out and they start their 9th with a little flare that somehow drops.
Baseball can be cruel.

At some point, how the bullpen is being managed needs to be addressed.
Meyers is MIA every Friday. Throws 15 pitches Saturday, and is MIA Sunday.
He’s been our most consistent BP guy other than Ozmer all year.
You got a 7-2 lead with 4 outs to go. At some point it’s on the coach to finish that out.
Even the announcers were confused why Heiberger didn’t get at least one batter in the 9th.

Should have bunted Fowler over as well. Some don’t agree, but as competitive as the SEC is and the series on the line , AND our BP arms. Need that extra run. Don’t get me started on Snell in LF

I think the left fielder is getting off too lightly. If he doesn’t see the ball, an infielder had followed it out there and could have made the catch or he was uncertain he could get under it in time and checked up. In that situation, either is inexcusable. Diving for the ball and not making the catch is probably no more damaging than letting it drop in front of you. Have the confidence and the hustle to make the damn out!!

We have 7 games against Troy, Georgia and Florida left. D1 keeps bringing up the fact that we don’t have a series win (minus Missouri) since OU and the committee will have issue with that. If we can take 2 out of 3 at home and the same in Gainesville it feels possible, but who knows. I wish our mid week games and non conference was discussed more. 4 of our non conference Wins are in the top 25. Our mid weeks aren’t a walk in the park, but it feels like it’s barely brought up by the talking heads.
We should’ve given Vandy’s Sunday Guy his first loss yesterday. I’m still not processing how we lost that game well. Hats off to our starting pitching this weekend. All 3 guys looked good.

LeBron’s pressing! Swinging at pitches that he took for balls a while back. Seems everybody is pitching him up in the zone.

Not all wins are equal but we have won like 10 or 11 more games than UK has at the moment . We have got to finish though
