Good thing the bats are alive. Adams was not sharp and that comes from an interview by our HC on the radio broadcast.

Pitching performance didn’t give me the warm and fuzzies against a Missouri Valley team coming off a 13-37 season.

No, it doesn't leave one with the best of feelings. Let's hope they find their groove quickly.

A little misleading imo. Adams struggled but everyone else was ok until the 9th and I really doubt either Veazy or Buchanan pitch much this year when it matters. Again I was disappointed in Adams, he didn’t look good today.

Great turnout by the students. Rest of the crowd was ok, not great, but 4 pm start on Valentine’s Day doesn’t bode well for opening day attendance. Got a little dicey toward the end yesterday…..

9-0 4th inning. Ten run rule is not in effect today.

Is that right? I have been a huge wait and see on him. He has not impressed me so far. His fastball ++ but command quite poor as he was constantly in 3-0 counts. Throwing 96 is no big thing in SEC play if you can’t locate. Dudes turn that stuff around all the time.

Predictably light crowd yesterday with the basketball game looming and with the parking situation around Coleman. Garrett Staton with the first grand slam of the season and 6 RBI’s on the day
