Nothing against Sears he has been great for the school. But people act like he b didn't have the same issues last year. He just isn't an elite athlete at this level.
However he is now an excellent shooter when given space, but against good competition he will struggle to get his own.

We were not really a great regular season team last year. So I was a little unsure about the high early ranking. Hopefully we take the loss well and figure out how to be more effective going forward

And that hurt us today. But his 3s one of the key reasons we beat Clemson. He’s got to keep shooting until he gets right.
Sears playing a bit selfish and trying to do to much when he’s struggling was costly tonight.

They shot 56% from three because of drop coverage defense. It allows our guards to get picked off with no help!

I think that the high preseason rank went to our heads. We have talent but it doesn’t seem to be playing well together right now. That has to change or this will end up being a very disappointing season.
