I will donate a stack to the Jimmy V foundation if Dick Vitale will go sit his old arse in a rocking chair somewhere and shut the frick up.

He sucks now but in his defense, he has always sucked and relied on his ability to be a sideshow carnival act.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but we're not playing that badly.

Florida just has 4 or 5 different players that can keep anyone we have on the floor from creating any space at all on the dribble.

Story of the game is how many times their big men have completely frustrated Philon trying to create any space.

Are you fricking retarded?

Oats has been to 4 Sweet 16 in 6 years. We had 8 in our entire history before he got here.

He’s been to 2 ELITE 8s. We had 1 before he got here.

He took us to our first Final 4.

You’re closer to the truth than most want to admit. While oats has been successful he has to tweak his idiotic system. We continuously shoot ourselves out of games. He recruits players who lack basic fundamentals. The three point shot is not reliable night in and night out.

Eh, the problem is that Florida is going to have this type of team every motherfricking year. We break under the pressure of their defense and ability to score with us. We are the first team to blink in every god dang game we play with them because their offense is more fundamentally sound.

When you play a team that has beaten you 4 times in a row and they have 0 turnovers the entire half, that should tell you a bit about where your execution needs to be. Our offense is going to run hot and cold, our inexcusable inability to be tough on defense is just awful

Seriously. Having to listen to him, Dykes and Ravich is torture. ESPN knows it too.

Eh, this happens every time we play these guys. Golden has our medicine similar to Rick Barnes but with a less miserable approach than Rick's prisonball arse. Oats going to have to go into a bunker and rethink aspects of his philosophy. Teams that can defend the rim with size and play athletic guards who extend out however far we stretch them past the arc will cook us.

You can’t say that on this board. Every time I’ve said it there is a couple that come running and bring up our continuous sweet 16 runs. Until we stop putting mid major athletes on the floor against super athletic teams, this will always be the result.

Can we win this game and beat this type team? yes, will we do it consistently? No

Yeah they always have like eight 6’10+ guys who move like guards and don’t miss inside 5 feet. Which means we can hardly get a shot at the rim and spend the whole game chasing.

And they’re playing in Gainesville. That helps.

I said it. Nobody has come knocking on my door to arrest me. If people don't like what I am saying and I am confident that I am right then I just leave them be.

Nah, makes little difference. They’ve owned us in Tuscaloosa lately too. We just can’t compete. Which is fine, still in great shape as a program, just need things to break just right in March.

We have zero movement on offense. It’s not hard to defend honestly. How often do our guards run a back door cut to the basket? Never. Oats likes to trot Williamson and Mallette out when we have a heater in Bethea.

Williamson has as much business out on that court as I do. The kid is TOTALLY out of his league.

I think are actually playing pretty well. They are probably just a little better being honest. Will have to get red hot from three to beat them.

Honestly I’d like to see us mix in some zone here even though we never play it. I’d rather get beat by Xaivian Lee making 3s than easy arse layups.
