Pressure Mateer

Time to welcome him to Ty’s world
Nobody looks as calm & collected with a couple of 300 lb guys bearing down on you.

We did not have a really easy early to mid season schedule, and aside from maybe FSU, Ty was in Heisman talks and really playing great. What do we think genuinely changed, because it’s clear something did? Could it really be that hit from the Mzzou game has just left him afraid to be hit back there and he’s forever in his head?

We need 3 or 4 seconds for that. Haven’t seen that much time to throw often tonight.

They’re dropping and blitzing out of confusing looks.

Having one guy go vert doesn’t preclude us from having another guy run a short crosser or slant to beat a blitz.

Are they even in the game? LOL. I saw #5 once. The only play I've actually seen by #2 was the pick 6 on defense.

That retired official ESPN uses on the crew drives me insane.

“You’re in MY space, you are endangering ME!”

You mean we should pressure a QB who had three screws in his hand mid season? Not sure why it took 1.5 quarters to figure that out after two weeks of prep and 6 weeks of film.

I think based on how he’s thrown the ball most of the year, Womack probably thought he’d be more dangerous with his legs and was trying to limit that.

But he’s throwing it better tonight than he has probably since prior to the injury. So sitting back to take away the scramble just isn’t a good plan.

Never seen so many Bama fans and alumni curse and down the players like is being done here.
The players make enough money to not let our opinions bother them.

That’s my issue; between the coaches salaries, the players making millions, fans should be getting a return on the investment.

A) 2nd time this season Saab has had a qb lined up dead to rights and whiffed on his blitz.

That was a huge missed opportunity.

Secondary tackling has been abysmal tonight.

They got spoiled by Saban. They haven’t seemed to figure out there was only one.

They should be chained to a chair and forced to watch the Mike years. They might learn something.

We desperately have to avoid opening the half with another 3 and out.

Well fellas. Mateer has confidence. Let’s see if we can bait him. Get a TO. score a TD get the ball back score again. We are up 21-17.

I said this with I think 5 minutes left. Not too far off. Maybe we will score after halftime.

Yeah that was a wild 15 yard penalty. That official got his feelings hurt. You won’t make that call there. Just do a sideline warning.

We needed a hail mary to beat a terrible Auburn team in 23....then beat Georgia

We have a better chance at beating IU than OU still. And we have a decent shot at OU

And our OL cannot switch. Just absolutely cannot.

I’d combo blitz the right side all night if I was them.
