I in no way believe those are options. He’s 100% keeping the ball on those plays.

There’s no doubt he is a keep first read option guy. It has to be obvious for him to give

Oklahoma has a game plan to stop him on the ground. Do y’all think the second half is suddenly going to be where he’s throwing the ball all over the field and it will “click”? Or do y’all think maybe it’s not great to have a non-traditional two trick pony back there that leaves us unable to run a normal offense if his legs or deep ball get taken away?

Pass pro and Jalen's passing have been pretty good (he's not completely airmailing passes like against Tennessee). I do think there's a path to victory w/ passing and RB runs. I don't think QB-designed runs are going to work based on what Venables is showing on D.

I am going to have faith the coaches adjust since all of this is fixable. Now if they dont, then we know these coaches dont belong here minus Deboer. Even he will deserve some blame.

Down 7 , couldve been worst. Lets wake up and take over

Only positive is that we’ve been absolutely dominated in all phases and are only down one score.

If we don’t give jam/haynes a combined 20-25 touches in the second half we have no chance.

I know what they’re not doing and that’s making adjustments

Back to the same old LB play, running themselves out of the play or standing there and getting beat up by a lineman.

We forced zero punts on defense and got bailed out by a fumble and missed fg.

Unless the defense plays better we are fricked

Is butt chin a better play caller? I thought I'd never see one worse but here we are

Personally, I love looking like we've never played football every time we face a good defense.

WHY DO WE RUN A QB DRAW WITH 10 TO GO?

Because our offense is limited y’all. You think the OC doesn’t know it’s a bad play call???????

How in the world did Milroe not make that tackle! This is all on Milroe.

Quit being a bitch. I didn’t even mention Milroe. I said the offense and it has sucked.

We needed a turnover to get 3 points.

Only one way to go.

He isn’t the problem

I agree, but a couple of those passes were 100 mph fastballs. College receivers should catch them, but they’re used to Jalen leaning on his back foot and throwing 60 mph lobs. Looks like Jalen has worked on stepping into his throws this week and as a result, we’ve seen a couple drops. But if anyone is to blame right now, I’d say the coordinator. He continues to run right into the strength of this defense with the quarterback, and everyone is keying in on the quarterback.

Venables will adjust in real time to our offensive adjustment (if we make one). Can we counter-adjust in real time?
