just shows dink and dunk can win games ...
we were always dependent on big pass plays to win during Jalen and Bryce regime

Jalen yes. All he could do well was the deep ball but Bryce was excellent in short and medium throws. He actually was kinda bad at deep balls apart from throwing it to Jameson. You don’t throw for 4500 yards with just deep balls unless you’re averaging something impossible like 20 yards per attempt.

Uga never had the lead, think about that.

It was never even tied, either after the first score

To be fair, this is also Venables’ approach and it works out pretty well most of the time.

True but Venables’ best defenses have all had elite front 7s.

What is the recovery period? Will we get him back this year?

We have to get some of those young kids ready.

Smith is out for the first half next week. More PT available for somebody that wants it.

Unless Mateer is somehow still hurt, I just don’t think we are going to win that game. They have the better defense and an extra week to prepare. Not sure Ty and home field is enough to overcome that.

That said, great win tonight!!

Damn, didn’t he miss most of the season last year because of injury?

Alabama is to Georgia as the Europeans are to the Americans during the first two days of the Ryder Cup.

Georgia is a perennially a good team, but they just can't hang with Alabama.
Much is the same of the Ryder Cup.
1st two days of foursome and four ball, the Europeans just absolutely dominate the Americans almost every Ryder Cup.

the targeting call was controversial

I thought it was slam dunk when the Herb and company called it. Its almost as if SEC booth took cue from them

How can you tackle in that angle without helmet in some form touching the player

Then they didn’t even review #1 who clearly targeted Bernard. The whole process of the targeting reviews and ejections is absurd and inconsistent
