Unfortunately not much bracing you can do for a back issue. Especially if it is muscle related. Hope he can hold up!!

Can confirm. If it’s a disc issue, there’s very little you can do to mitigate the pain aside from a full blown epidural

I too can confirm this. If he has a disc issue that isn't going to go away without a lot of rest and PT, if not surgery, he's in agonizing pain. Extra padding and support won't help that though, so I don't think it's a disc. Might just be some kind of big, nasty bruise down on his hip or something that makes it hurt to plant.

Post game is worse with commercials. They will advertise for four or five minutes and come back and give the passing stats the back to commercials for another four or five minutes. Then they will give the rushing stats, etc…
