Wonder if SEC is above Youngblood’s pay grade? Just not contributing much.
One great thing that happened today was Sears finding his shooting touch. He shot like he did last year. This needs to continue.

He missed a couple of wide open three's badly so I don't know if he found his shooting stroke but hopefully he has.

If someone would’ve told you before the game that Sears would have 35 and we would shoot 42% from 3, you’d figure we win. Might even say we win handily. We lost by 12. The defensive end of the floor is atrocious right now and needs a total reset.

I fell asleep before tipoff and just woke up to see the score. What the hell? This team is once again shitting the bed down the stretch.

For sure. Grant being -20 in 18 minutes and Cliff being -14 in 15 minutes is really just inexcusable. They both played less than half the game and managed to be responsible for that much bleeding defensively. Cliff just can't guard anyone anymore and constantly fouls made baskets because he is always late and flat footed and when Grant is moved to cover the 5 he gets worked.
Somehow Mo plays 28 minutes and though he was struggling to stop Mitchell as well, he was +8. I'm just done with Cliff, his motor is freaking awful and he is constantly just kind of standing there with no sense of urgency. Sherrell is slow as hell, but he fights and he has upside offensively

were down from the start by 12 and never recovered. I went to bed with us down 13. I dont think we got closer than 9 unless we did with 9 minutes left to play. Two horrible games in a row where we were down from the beginning

Cut it to 6 twice, but just couldn't really ever make them nervous

So we are in the home stretch. 0-2, never led in either game. Defense giving up 103ppg.
Florida may score 125.

We won’t win again until our front court plays better. Nelson and Cliff are both unplayable at this point. Don’t know what happened to Nelson but he has been so soft and clumsy this year. Cliff is borderline lazy. If he would actually jump on rebounds he may lead the sec in rebounds. I believe they should come off the bench until they realize their effort is essential.

This game was always going to be a let down game after the high of the Auburn game. Regardless of what happened in the Auburn game, the Missouri game had loss written all over it.
Just beat Kentucky, State and Florida, then get ready for the tournament.
Alabama has never been past the sweet 16 as a high seed in the tournament. Seeding doesn't matter, match ups do.

2nd game in a row where we let the other team take wide open 3s to start the game and get buried by a huge lead right out of the gate and have to claw back the entire game. And the constant turnovers make it even harder. They don't quit, and that's important, but when you have to spend the entire first half trying to cut down a big deficit, the gameplan, defense, and physical and mental energy suffers greatly. Gotta turn it around.

This is bullshite. Bama lost that game. High my arse. You get smacked like that at home and you don't get to claim you were just too excited from 4 days earlier. You don't have a letdown after a damn loss.

We just better be ready for a fizzling out finish to the regular season.
Our team just doesn't play the complete game and we can't handle the adversity or apparently the spotlight. We look tired. At least not consistent enough.
I hope at least Oats will focus this team for the conference tournament and not get blown out on the first day, putting all his proverbial eggs in one ncaa tournament basket.

I just hope we can win 3 of these 6 games. Which is looking a lot harder than before.

The Key moment in the game was when we cut it to 6 and had all the momentum, Get the stop we need, and frickin Jarin doesn’t grab the rebound….just like the Auburn game.
We win the game IMO if he grabs that rebound

Or when he ran up the court dribbling like a middle schooler and got robbed. We saw it coming from a mile away.

The guys on this team do a lot of “unsmart” things during crucial points of the game.

Your not understanding the concept of a letdown game are you? Happens in every sport. That is why Saban always tried to take emotions out of his players.
Look how Auburn struggled with an awful Arkansas team.
