I do think we will get some 1st place votes but I think Auburn stays 1 and we slide to 2 over Duke.

Especially right before playing the number 1 team who would have lost that ranking to us. No need to give them more motivation.

Pretty sure we’ll be #2 on Monday. Just doesn’t make sense to put us #1 when metrics, record, Quad 1 wins, etc. all point to AU still being #1.

Interestingly, the road teams in the SEC won 6 of 8 games today.
The only home teams to win were Kentucky (over USCe) and Vanderbilt (over Texas)

The boys were able to lock it back in and get the W. That crowd was rocking at BWA. It is a good win. Saban always said winning a close game is the best because they can still learn from their mistakes.

If the season ended today I think we are the 1 seed in Nashville. Because Auburn is 0-1 vs the 3rd place teams and Alabama is 1-0

Note: We lost to Ole Miss at home (much worse team) by a worse final score.

Even if they hold on to the number 1 ranking, we will jump Duke and be guaranteed a historic 1 Vs 2 matchup in Coleman. That's pretty incredible
