Klemm’s brief tenure as offensive line coach was marked by issues. The Boston Herald reported that Klemm confronted Patriots director of player personnel Matt Groh “early in the season in a loud exchange that reverberated through the organization.”

Hard to take anything away from anything that happened at the tail end of Belichick's NE tenure. For all we know the "loud exchange" was Klemm shouting, "I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS AROUND HERE!" for which no one could blame him.

Alabama is expected to hire Adrian Klemm as its next offensive line coach, sources confirm to BamaOnLine. Klemm is set to replace Chris Kapilovic on Kalen DeBoer’s staff in Tuscaloosa.

If Groh lead player eval, he may have been dog cussing him for the dogshit OL room he was handed.

Well, frick . I see KD likes a little challenge from his OL unit. Plays on hard difficulty. I can respect that.

Read when he was at Oregon, they led the nation in sacks allowed (5 all season) and when he was at Pitt before that they also led the nation in sacks allowed (7 less than the next best team)

That and the rushing numbers are encouraging for me

He coached the Steelers OL, but never coached at Pitt

But that’s just it, you don’t KNOW. You may suspect he doesn’t but honestly, you don’t know.

It's that what we want at Bama an unknown? Not saying it would be a bad hire because for starters you can't do worse than what we had. Just think its OK to question everything.

This is a terrible hire I don’t know one person who is excited about Klemm. It’s becoming clear that DeBoer is Shula 2.0.

I don’t know if you didn’t read his bio but he does have success at his stops. You act like he coached at some Division III school no one’s ever heard of.

I didnt act like anything. I SAID/POSTED he's an unknown which doesn't mean its a bad thing. Heck Cig was unknown. I also SAID/POSTED its understandable people want to question things. Id rather not keep hoping that a hire is a good hire, it would be nice to know ahead of time that a coach is a good coach. On the otherhand Im also one of those that doesn't like the recycling of coaching. Im wishy washy sue me.

Heard of him have you? No? Had to go look him up? Hearing a lot of good things about him from everyone? All over media etc about what a great hire this would be? Knocked it out of the park I suppose?

Which OL coach would’ve met this criteria?

I remember when Joe Pendry was hired and everyone melted down because Saban hired an old man that had been fired from an NFL team.

lol, nobody knows more than like 10 OL coaches off the top of their head. Lots of college fans couldn't tell you who is the current OL coach of their team. Stoutland, Pendry, and Brent Key weren't available for some reason so we were just going to have to go after somebody you hadn't heard of.
