I used to get so emotionally invested, but there are just such highs and lows now. It’s just such a crap show every other week. I don’t want to hear “you’d never survive the pre-Sagan years.” I did. I don’t expect to win every game, but I do expect to feel hopeful even. It’s like we’ve been beating the same dead horse the last three years, running from one problem to the next.

I miss the mystique where teams knew they were fricked as soon as they heard the Thunderstruck intro.

His arse has gotta go, and we need to make a run at Cignetti.
z much as I’d like that, Cignetti has zero incentive to leave.

he’s a legend there.

Cignetti's offense is arse. They almost got beat by a back up QB today. Mendoza was lightning in a bottle.

For what it’s worth, I am completely numb. The last three years have been spent with such inconsistency, I never expect to win or compete, even. I am just numb.

Same here. I was talking with my coworkers about the game Friday & it was unanimous we were going to look like shite/make a&m look competent.

We're just a 4 loss program now & I accept it. That's who we are.

Gotta try for Will Stein

I'd be cool with that. It'd be nice just to see a well-coached team again.

Go watch Bob Chesney's pregame speech before Oregon....... more emotion & inspiring than KDB's showed his entire time at Alabama.

Yeah we fricked up by not getting Cignetti.

He loves to stick it in everyone's arse from Indiana. He is a hateful guy. I don't blame him either.

I don't even know who or what this team is. Supposed to be Bama but it is not.

I don’t think it has anything to do with a Bama identity, there’s just no identity with this team at all.

Pretty much what Mike McDonald said about the offense under Grubb in Seattle. what is the one thing where we have command and control on offense. There’s no core philosophy to execute.

Indeed. He has Kentucky humming while we are sputtering. People here are hung up on DeBoer or against Stein. I don’t get it. Stein will be a coach at a top flight school and a national championship contender, it might as well be Bama. DeBoer is not the answer here.

He had already been hired at Indiana before Saban retired.

Get the name of that Illinois head coach. He can be the hottest thing in coaching on this board and the next GOAT if he holds on.

I just want to feel hopeful, even. Oh, we made defensive adjustments and brought 4DL. It made changes in the second half, but it was too late. Okay, but we know we can do it. We try something else. We try something new. But we never do. It’s the same vicious cycle three years in a row. What’s that Einstein quote?

Well honestly how often does he have time for more than that given how long the routes are?

Yes! There are defenders blitzing completely free on top of Russell at the snap.

If they don’t leave at least 6 guys in protection minimum, then you can bank on KR running for his life.

Grubb’s answer for the blitz is for the QB to juke out the free-runner(s).
