He will need to gain some weight though. He's listed at 170lbs, but that's probably soaking wet with 5lb weights in his pockets

Yeah. My eyeballs tell me he's not much more than 145.

He also had a chop block injury this year and they played him too much on the edge. He'd be a monster under 300 lbs in the middle.

Not to keep going back to TJ Parker, but he allegedly took Clemson out of his social bios.

I’m so confused why lotzeir’s balls are being garbled so hard right now

RW/Germie are set

Horton was going to be WR1 for Miami next year and is a major target with his height in the red zone

Jalen Hale is a former 5 star that was seen as WR2 in spring camp last year before breaking his leg

And you’re telling me a 145 lb freshman is going to go in and be WR3 at worst?

I really hate that Hale got injured way back in the spring. He’s a stud wide receiver who was recruited by all of the big programs. I’m excited to see him catch passes from a legitimate quarterback.

Same, he showed some potential as a true freshman in 2023. If he had a better quarterback situation, I imagine he would've been a bigger factor in the offense as a true freshman...so yeah, I had high expectations for him in 2024.

Injuries at WR and OL really hampered this season and put too much on arguably the first or second worst multi-game QB starter in the last two decades at Alabama.

You could have asked the exact same question about RW this time last year. But he was simply too talented to keep off the field. Ditto with Brooks. He's just a better athlete and catcher of the football to be denied. Watch and see.

Most of us like him because he appears to be significantly underrated as a recruit relative to his production and athleticism. Only one person seems to have predicted that he'd get a bunch of run as a freshman though.

Cole Adams will be in the regular rotation regardless of who's coming in.

He’s going to be a cyborg by his senior season.

Last year people kept saying Ryan Williams needed time to develop and would probably not make an immediate impact. If Brooks has the talent, he will see the field early.

Didn't buy Horton to have him not get front line starter snaps to be honest. Additionally, I do not think Bernard or Williams are having their snaps reduced too much either. Adams and Hale are probably WR4 and WR5. Rico Scott is probably WR6 right now and the player most likely to have their spot in the pecking order taken assuming everyone is healthy.

Brooks would be trying to claw for snaps from WR6 at best and the guy is coming from New Jersey HS football as an undersized receiver. My guess is he's one of those guys who they try to manage their game appearances and tuck him away for a developmental year. I expect both WR signee to be treated like that barring injuries next year.

Putting lotzeir in the same talent group as Ryan Williams is like saying Julian Sayin was going to seize the starting job this season

Hale is coming off a bad leg injury. There’s no guarantee that he will be fully recovered in this spring training camp. Rico Scott is a very good prospect. The coaching staff likes him a lot. Would be ideal to get him reps while Hale recovers. Win win for everyone.

I’ve heard somewhere that Hale is already running around but maybe not cleared for contact yet.

Wtf? People are excited about what they see from him on tape. He seems to be an electric playmaker with elite speed and quickness. It's hard to keep guys with his skillset off the field even as freshmen. He very well could not be ready, and most realize that that is a possibility. But to be bothered by people being excited about him is a weird flex.

I'd say that there is a very good chance.

Yeah it's very strange. He's a kid that loved Alabama the minute he stepped on campus back when coach Saban recruited him. He's also a normal guy that don't wanna go to to a different camp every week.
