It has to be Simpson. I like Mack but he’s taking that deal. Simpson, maybe not. He’s been patient and looking like he’s the guy next season.

You'd have to be stupid to pay $2 million for Ty Simpson or Austin Mack.

His dad is also the head coach at UT Martin. Money probably isn’t as big of a factor for him.

I was just coming here to post the same thing. Looks like we aren’t going to get news from him too quickly.

If I were a transfer, I would look around as much as possible to carefully pit schools against one another for maximum financial gain. I would then stay with my commitment through thick and thin.

We are the first visit it will be locked up. He set up other visits to make it seem like he wasn’t tampered with. Classic diversion

Not if the kid at FSU with a 109 rtg is getting 1.5M.

If we "tampered" to get this kid in the portal he wouldn't be lining up visits to other schools.

If you take something stupid and add more stupid you don't get less stupid, you get more.

Sorry but I don't think they are anywhere close. Jameson Williams put together one of the best seasons in Alabama football history for a wide receiver. Ryan Williams couldn't hardly catch a ball for the last 1/2 of the season.
Metchie had over 1,000 years also. Not even close.

Agreed. Equating Williams to Jameson Williams *at this point* is absurd.

Have you seen Barn's qb room? They just started Peyton Thorne for multiple seasons.

Plus this means barn's qb would know BAMA's playbook. It wouldn't be stupid at all. What it would be is brilliant.

All barn was missing this season was a qb. Ty Simpson throwing to Coleman and handing off to Hunter would've put barn in the playoff this season.

I'm guessing PennSt or SMU.

I think he's wrong about coaches moving on. I don't think there is nearly the temptation to go to the NFL as there once was. And if you think about it, it's the same now. Only in the NFL, you get stuck with whomever your general mngr drafts or signs. The coaches don't have that much input.
The GOAT NFL coach is in college now. I wouldn't be shocked if more NFL coaches move to college. If that's the case, dibs on DeMeco.

But this is just great business sense by the players! You definitely can’t think it’s shitty to hold their programs hostage because they aren’t breaking RULES!!
