Agreed. Also, many teams have proven you don't need 5 stars at every wideout position. In fact, it becomes a problem at a certain point. Not enough touches to go around leads to discontent.

My delusional Gump take: Smith is a bad apple and his outburst in the IB was an outward sign of this. Kalen is clearing out or at least not trying hard to retain those who are poor locker room guys.

I know people will say I’m losing my mind over this and I’m not but so far everyone Bama brought in this weekend has committed elsewhere. I figured we took 21 to have room for add ons through the portal.

That wasn't the first time either. He had one of these on the sideline last year after a game that not many people seen. Also one other time this year
