Aaaaand that makes me nervous on Milroe coming back
It looks like it will be Ty, Mack, Russell in order.

3 QBs on the roster is not really enough and there is a decent chance whoever is behind the other between Ty and Mack after camp is a likely spring transfer window risk.
I wouldn't be surprised if they got some G5 QB who is a grad student that intends to go GTA after their eligibility is up. Just to fill out the depth for emergency situations.

If #4 is returning, then expect Ty to enter the portal.

And the fan base to riot.

I'm no Milroe fanboy but if the staff brings him back then the fanbase is just going to accept it and move on. Like I said elsewhere on this board, I'll know in September 2025 if our season needs to become a hobby and home improvement season in my household.

With Ty saying “ hopefully next year I will be the QB,/ leading this team, I think he fully expects Milroe to declare for the draft

Yea - Ty feels like the one to watch. Staying so far, he clearly thinks Jalen is leaving. If he jumps in, that would tell me Jalen is going to stay. He's not going to stick around and backup Jalen another year and then have to compete with a R-FR Keelon in his last year.

I think this is the plan, someone with a little experience, but moreso "just happy to be here".

If tweet fails to load, click here. I know a few people were interested when he went into the portal last season(he withdrew in May).

Last time we thought we'd secured one of those guys who turned into a 8 year NFL vet

I think Tacario Davis is someone the staff talked to last Spring. Perhaps if Jackson is going pro then he'd be a smart pickup. I like our cornerback situation though tbh.

Gah, he went from wanting to transition to coaching right after college to Mike Leach being like "Come throw for like 4000 yards for me."

I'm leaning towards thinking Domani will declare, he absolutely had a breakout season after getting away from USCw.
I'm not sure how DeBoer's staff handles draft projections vs Saban's, but I see him as a top 60 pick at worst.

I think Domani will come back. He played well this year but I can see him being a 1st round pick in the 2026 draft with some more improvements. Not implying he wasn't good this year but I think he can be even better with another year

OL, likely a depth piece at QB now, LB, Safety, TE or 2, WR and DL

Both Sports Illustrated and ESPN published new mock drafts today. Mock drafts are to be taken with a grain of salt, I know, but fwiw:
-SI has Jalen Milroe drafted at no. 8, which is crazy high, but to the Cleveland Browns, who are known for making crazy decisions regarding their quarterbacks:
LINK
-ESPN has Milroe dropping out of the 1st round altogether:
LINK
Mel Kiper had Milroe in his top 10 for a while. After the OU game Milroe dropped like a stone to the end of the 1st round. Now he's out.
Regardless, I assume he declares. No doubt he'll put up impressive numbers at the Combine and test well in all physical areas. He comes across as mature and a leader so I expect him to interview well also. His drawbacks have been very visibly on display, but he could go late first round to a team with a good QB coach which thinks they can coach him up.
