Guys like Bryce Young are here for 3 seasons. Why stunt his growth? Give him those game reps. Mac is an average guy, a dime a dozen.

I mean Mac is a 4*. It’s not like he is a scrub and he was very impressive against 2 top defenses at the end of last season. Compared to Tua he may be an average guy but IMO he is better than every other QB we have had under Saban(besides McCarron)

Perine has a huge leg, but his issues are technique and timing. He's gotta be faster and have some more touch. Can't launch it every time, field isn't always gonna be long.

Mac was phenomenal in the Michigan game. He's not Tua, but as a pure QB he looked light years better than Hurts ever did here, and reminded me a little of McCarron. Thought his footwork was much better than McCarron's, just doesn't have the same arm talent.
