Rodney Orr on Ryan Fowler’s radio show said that Washington was on the phone with Bama late last night.

Man adding Washington to this class would be an amazing finish to this class. We could definitely use a difference maker and matchup problem at TE.

Very importantly, it would also be a 6'7" middle finger to kirby.

Definitely agree on Timothy Smith with needing an interior guy with his potential in this class.
While I like dale I really think he gonna need to be total snap manage.
With that said I hope smith does not get held back like 58 was due to seniority.

If he plays smarter than 58 did he won't be.

I hope Kristian Story goes straight to defense. SI had him on their 1st team All American team.

I hoping he goes on offense if we lose Ruggs and Smitty.
I see him is the next Curtis Samuel but with better overall WR skills But the same run after catch ability.
Also KR duties day one.

How fast do you think story is? Just my opinion he should be playing safety.

It hits me like a ton of bricks that my advisees are all born post 2000.
Hell, my wife's pre-k students were all born in 2015... its so weird mentally still.

I think he more than fast enough to play WR and maybe a 4.4 type kid at minimum.
I agree he can play safety but if we lose Smitty and Ruggs he would be my pick based on his run after catch ability.
He along with waddle, Metchie, Bolden will be great after catch WR's.
Also I think with DeMarcco Hellams and especially Eddie (Athlete )Smith along with battle will be very solid at Safety.
Now that kid branch is gonna be nice at safety.

Most wont say it but early on carter and Mayden were a liability and after the A&M game they were both on thin ice.
Keep in mind other than that misplayed ball against USC east battle played very well.
If it were my call I would have moved Diggs to safety and allowed jobe to play CB.
So then rotating Diggs and 15 down in and out the box based on opponent.

Again Mayden picked it up after A&M , but i will say that carter was playing like he did not like contact early on and also picked up better after A&M. So I agree story will be good on either side but if we lose depth via NFL draft I like his size run after catch ratio as a wr.

I just hope he's not stringing Saban along on Smart's orders. There was smoke he signed yesterday and is just keeping it quiet til he announces in January. I'd hate it if it was UGA he signed with and is just making CNS waste valuable recruiting time on him. Hopefully if he signed yesterday it was with us.

They can’t recruit him if he signed during the Early Signing Period with someone else.

Don't sleep on Townsend at WR. Also, Bama is considering taking another DB, apparently for Story, Branch or Turnage to play WR. Obviously dependent on who's staying and who's leaving.

Anyone have a list of our players and remaining prospects who are expected to play in the Under Armour All-America Game in January or the U.S. Army All-American Bowl?
