TBD. He's only made 5 CB picks so far. He was the 3rd guy to CB Joseph to Bama (soon after Hank & Lucky) and the first guy to CB Gilbert, Webb, Jarrett and Boutte to Bama.

Oh boy. Some LSU fan just posted this on the LSURb:

quote:

I'd rather have Taylor than Gilbert. Taylor is more athletic, has better open field agility and has better hands than Gilbert. He may not be as good a blocker as Gilbert, but he will be a much better receiver.

Taylor is LSU TE commit Kole Taylor.

Welp. At least he'll still be happy when LSU whiffs on Gilbert. Taylor probably will too.

Is Beck considered a top 5 QB? He isn't even a 5 star. I don't even think he was in the top 100 when he committed to Bama.

AJ McCarron played on a awful St. Paul's team during his senior year in 08. Stats wouldn't that great, he turned out ok.

Ok? What does that have to do with what I asked?

It takes no more time to type Carson Beck 247 on a brower url line and hit enter to find and click the url to his 247 profile page and get answers to those questions than it does to type and post the questions. And you won't have to wait for anyone else to come along and go get the answers for you. The rank history link is next to his current ranking at the top of his profile page. Timeline data further down the profile page includes his commit & decommit dates. More tips.

likewise, there could be a sticky post at the top with links to the websites that do recruiting news and there wouldn't even be this thread

As long as Cobra makes good luck posts there will always be a need for these threads.

If you think that's better than this thread, you can easily bookmark those sites yourself. Nobody is holding a gun to your head making you read this thread.

Drake Maye out recruiting 2021 TE Hudson Wolfe. I'm happy we got a QB who is locked in and out recruiting early for next year's class. Having the QB recruiting leader seems to usually pay dividends.
