It’s been a season full of breakout performances for Top-100 junior Jaden Jones. After making a move from Prolific Prep to SLCA, Jones held his own and continued his dominance on a national level. The 6-foot-8 prospect in my eyes could be best described as a ‘big guard’ which is how the game is being played nowadays.

Jones is one of the youngest prospects in the entire class as he just turned 17 this year. The sharpshooter also has found himself being targeted by several different schools from all separate conferences. Here’s Jaden Jones’ final-six breakdown with Stockrisers.com.

FINAL SIX: Arizona, USC, Rutgers, Alabama, San Diego State, LSU.

– Arizona: Coach Miller watched me play last year a few times before he offered. He told me that he was looking for me to lead them to a Final Four my freshman year. Said that he only offers kids that he really wants. My family was impressed.

– Rutgers: I was really impressed with the coaching style and culture. Coach Steve is straight to the point in his recruitment of me. My second official visit. Great place

– LSU: Coach Wade has been very active in recruiting me since he first saw me. He talks to my family a lot. We will visit this spring. Also, a good program that likes big guards.

– San Diego State: My first official. So you know they would be in my top 6. The coaching staff is very serious about me being on campus in 2021.

– Alabama: HC watched me play at a high-level tourney in Kentucky and knew right away what I was and offered. Keeps in touch with my dad. Planing a visit this spring. He likes that I’m a combo-guard that can shoot. Actually asked if I would consider reclassing to join the 2020 class but I told him that I was a true 2021 and appreciated the thought

– USC: Coach Andy [Enfield] has been really active in communicating with my family. We like his approach and coaching/playing style. I’m planning a visit for the Spring.

Thanks I obviously want Primo more but I’d be extremely happy to take both of them.

If Primo reclassifys then that's a good sign for us imo, because Oats probably talked him into it.

Haha Oats wants him in right now. Just watched film on that kid and he is really good. Plays under control.

Oats has already asked at least 3 2021 guards to reclassify to this class recently. I think Primo is probably top option out of the ones he asked to do it.

Texas guard Jaden Jones first caught the attention of Youth1 in 2012 when he was a 9-year-old third grader averaging 27 points and 7 rebounds per game.

Primo – who is expected to reclassify into the 2020 class – started off the season injured and transferred high schools which has made catching up with his development a little more difficult the last several months. He entered this event as the 52nd rated 2021 prospect in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings, while he’s 42nd in the Top247. Upon announcing his reclassification into 2020, Primo’s rating should only improve. Primo has an outstanding combination of size, length, shooting and vision. When you add his skills to the physical tools and consider he doesn’t turn 18 until December – he will easily be one of the youngest college basketball players in the country next season - there’s all the more reason to believe in him.

Recruitment: Alabama, Creighton, Ohio State and Oregon.

Bediako used the 2019 FIBA u19 World Cup in Greece to breakout as a prospect – he averaged 8.9 points and 5.1 rebounds for Canada despite being one of the youngest players at the event – and has only improved since then. The 36th rated 2021 prospect in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Bediako entered the event as a highly touted player but more than backed that up this weekend. He has always had the size, length and athleticism to finish above the rim, beat opponents downcourt in transition, rebound and protect the rim, but Bediako has gained confidence offensively and shown unique ability for a player his size to grab a rebound and start the break due to his improved handle. Given Bediako’s rate of improvement and physical upside, everything is moving in the right direction in the four-star prospect’s development.

Recruitment: Maryland and Memphis are the two schools recruiting Bediako the hardest.

We can have both the youngest freshman and youngest junior in the NCAA.

I can just hear the commentators repeating that 20 times a game.

If we do get Primo I’m not ready for a whole new season of ...”He is the youngest player in college basketball”

That would be amazing if we get Ellis and Primo.

When the season starts next year Primo will be almost a year older than Kira was his freshman season so we probably won’t hear that near as much. I hope we don’t anyway lol.

Kira was incredibly young, I think he was literally the youngest freshman in the country.

I would be pretty excited about a class of just Ambrose and Primo. Landing a couple of players of their caliber after less than a year on the job would be sign that recruiting is not likely to be an issue going forward.

Well we technically have 0 roster spots open. We had one, and we filled that with Ambrose.

It's become pretty obvious that Kira is gonna be a first round pick which means he likely leaves so we are looking for someone to fill his spot, which is why we are all of the sudden offering Ellis and trying to get Primo to reclassify at the last minute. I think this last spot was between Primo and Ellis with Ellis being the backup plan, so with it looking like Primo is gonna commit we don't have room for Ellis.

I doubt we push Galin out as some have speculated. He may grad transfer somewhere on his own and if he does we will probably go after a transfer or grad transfer ourselves after the season.

If Kira leaves (I still don’t think he’s a lock first rounder although it’s a weak draft), and we bring in Ambrose and Primo then we have a fairly glaring hole at backup point guard.

An even bigger hole than this year since at least we have Beetle this year (to be fair, he’s barely been a backup point this year).

I guess Herb’s had multiple years of preparing to be a point 4.

Most team's don't have a good backup PG, most teams don't have a good starting PG.

Quinerly is gonna play a ton of minutes probably 35+ a game. Herb is good enough at it to play PG the other 4 or 5 minutes, I think Herb is better at running the point than Beetle.
