Screw next year. I’m trying to find some season tickets for this year. SoG sold me.

Worth checking in on the packs (they have like weekend, 40 games, etc) I think.

Really thinking about going to the Angels series this summer. Especially if Shohei pitches. Braves haven’t seen Trout in like 10 years because he was out in 2017 when we played them.

I have yet to go to a game at Truist. Went to probably 50 at Turner Field and Maybe 10 at FCS. Those were in bad parts of town so I only went on Sunday afternoon games or Saturday afternoon games.

The Acuna-Freeman drama is something.

Ah who needs Freddie. If he ain’t knocking up Hooters waitresses and having Illegal Mexicans found dead on his property I don’t want him as my franchise player.

I did not expect tonight to go this way after the first inning. Fried came out sharp. Oh well. The Braves are a second half team anyway.

Ugly night. Reds blooping hits all over the field. Average exit velocity under 82 MPH. But 6 runs. Yeesh.

We never win on Opening day. Only win I can remember in the last 10ish years was the Markakis walk off

A $151 dollar burger and Spencer Strider have been the only highlights tonight.

The half-pound waygu beef burger, called "The World Champions Burger," is served on a toasted, Irish-buttered brioche bun. The other toppings are pan-fried eggs, gold-leaf-wrapped Hudson Valley foie gras, grilled cold water lobster tail, heirloom tomato, garden-fresh Bibb lettuce, Tillamook cheddar cheese and truffle aioli.

Parmesan waffle fries are served on the side.

The $151 price tag is in honor of the Braves' 151st year of existence, going back to their 1871 start as the Boston Red Stockings.

Oh, I did not have it. I watched the game at home. But the ESPN2 broadcast had a segment on the burger.

16 mil would have been better spent on another outfielder rather than Jansen.

This looks like right handed version of will smith.

Meanwhile snitker handles his bullpen based on who makes the most money not stuff. Matz has to be wondering what he has to do to earn the job. Smh

Nice night for Olson. Kenley was a bit rocky for his 1st time but he will get comfortable with time

Jansen is a notorious slow starter. And pitching is going to be slow going this year with the reduced spring training.

I'm simply NOT paying a player that has their prime in the rearview mirror- and fastball regularly sits around 90-92 mph 16 million dollars for one season.

They claim he can still "reach back" for 96mph, but lets face it... in todays MLB 95 is the floor for 8th & 9th inning guys. Dodgers fans that understand analytics were happy to see him go. I'm looking at the Braves lineup this last two nights with Guirmo or whatever his goofy arse name is, and alex-never-heard-of-him-dickerson in the lineup thinking 16 mil would have gone a loooooong way to sure up a very weak bench for the Braves right now.

Bench isn’t nearly as important with the DH. You want your bench to be strong fielders now.

Jansen had a great season last year and is one of the better closers in the games history, it’s gonna take him some time especially with the abbreviated spring
