The administration did inform the media that there would be 'no comment' on the pending litigations. In my opinion, there was nothing cowardly about his decision to yield to the question(s).

Probably a good idea not to discuss the situation before the trial. Good move imo.

The media' inability to understand simple words is not a cowardly move on his part. The media was told twice that there would be no comments on this, then proceeded, with OCD focus, to only ask about the one thing they had been told there would be no comment on.

They called them former players, so I am guessing they were kicked off the team. No need to disparage them until the legal process plays out. They are still due their day in court no matter what the fricking pansy arse media thinks. You never know these days, bitches be crazy.

did the rapes involve Penn State at all, other than the perps being former players? If not, how does Penn State fit into this at all? And believe me, I'm no Penn State defender.

Penn State, like Oregon, is consistently the most highly over-rated team in the history of athletic competition.

Why should we care?

Maybe Penn St. isn’t the best place to sweep rapey stuff under the rug.

Please keep your questions related to Wisconsin. Coach Franklin, have the rape allegations against your 2 players hurt the team’s preparation going into the game against the Badgers?

Not the first time he's been accused of inaction when a rape occurs. Now he just looks like a chickensh*t.
