Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has filed a lawsuit in Collin County, Texas accusing a woman of extortion. Victoria Shores alleges Prescott sexually assaulted her in 2017. Shores' lawyers demanded $100 million in damages...
quote:

Prescott is denying her claim, and in the lawsuit filed Monday, is suing for "defamation and slander, defamation per se, civil extortion/duress, business disparagement, tortious interference with current and/or prospective business relations, civil conspiracy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress."

"Recently, Mr. Prescott found himself the subject of an extortion plot,” Prescott's lawyer Levi McCathern said. “The Defendant and her legal team have threatened to go public with a completely fabricated story of sexual assault from nearly a decade ago, and demanded that Mr. Prescott immediately pay $100 Million in exchange for her not pressing false charges with the authorities.

"Mr. Prescott — a new father to a baby girl — has great empathy for survivors of sexual assault. He fervently believes that all perpetrators of such crimes should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. To be clear, Mr. Prescott has never engaged in any nonconsensual, sexual conduct with anyone. Lies hurt. Especially, malicious lies. We will not allow the Defendant and her legal team to profit from this attempt to extort millions from Mr. Prescott.”

That's definitely the bold part of going for so much. Go for 15-20 mil to settle with 3-5mil. He probably doesn't have 100m to dish out, so forced a countersuit. It's like they saw what happened in the Trump case and figured that is now set precedent. Just a weird approach imo.

Why does MAGA love bringing up politics all the time? Remember when you could talk about sports without some idiot injecting politics into it? Not anymore, those days are gone now.

Now we know why his performance has struggled. Young Dak has a lot on his mind. Hopefully he can get the psychological help he needs and take his "boys" bowling!!

If it's proven her claims were fabricated (think the college punter), that attorney should be disbarred.

After he got the big contract you can bet these scumbag lawyers beat the bushes from coast to coast trying to scare up a victim. I wish a judge would jail their sorry asses. The chick ain't doing it, it's these trained fckn liars behind this.

Anybody who waits 7 years to file a SA claim is full of shite. Her lawyers and her were hoping for a quick buck but Dak is calling the bluff and I hope she learns a hard lesson
