Well, well, well, look at AJ McCarron making history in the XFL. Not only did he lead the St. Louis Battlehawks to a 53-28 victory over the Orlando Guardians on Saturday, but he completed 28 of 35 passes for 420 yards and six touchdowns. McCarron completed the 10-week regular season with 24 passing touchdowns, breaking Tommy Maddox's single-season XFL record of 18 in 2001...

Don't know why people think aj couldn't have made it as a starter in the right situation. He's better than quite a few multi-year starters in recent memory

What's an XFL salary like vs. NFL backup? Holding a clipboard in the league for a million plus for 8-10 years seems like a good gig even if you can't crack a starting role.

This dude just wins. Had he been given a legit shot in the NFL he would have been a starter for many years.

I have to respectfully disagree. His value in the NFL is as a decent backup.

I’ve always liked AJ. He could have a long career in the NFL so respect him for going this route to make his own path. His wife is also the hottest woman I’ve ever seen.

What makes yall think he would have a long career in the NFL? You mean as a backup right? And I could be wrong, but he can still play in the NFL.
