Yeah just comes off jealous and petty. I mean comparing what Tony does to what the players do is just embarrassing. What Tony does brings value to what the players do on the field and draws an audience for the game which in turn gets the players paid. Bad commentary definitely distracts from an otherwise good game. I agree that people aren’t going to tune in because such-and-such is calling the game, but people will have a worse game day experience with a bad crew. That’s worth something, and it’s silly to compare that value-add to what the players are doing.
