This gem of a pic surfaced on the internet on Monday. What's even crazier is the age math behind it...

I saw Ken Stabler in Fairhope Alabama in 2000. He looked to be about 350 years old.

I guess if the Snake knew he was going to live that long, he would have taken better care of himself.

If they were brothers they would be Stannis and Robert

Brees has the hairline of a 65 year old.

Pretty sure Drew has lived a much cleaner life than Snake did.

You tend to age quicker when the REC no loner pays your bills.

Alcohol and prostitutes tend to give men grey hair earlier. No secret Stabler lived hard and fast. He was a true gunslinger in his prime. He even drew up plays in the dirt during a superbowl. You can't get more gunslinging than that.

Straight from his wiki account. 1986 autobiography Snake, "The monotony of [training] camp was so oppressive that without the diversions of whiskey and women, those of us who were wired for activity and no more than six hours sleep a night might have gone berserk."

Stabler enjoyed what Nola offered just a bit more.

The people always talking about Drew’s “noodle arm” don’t remember this guy. By the time he got to NOLA, he could barely wing it 25 yards downfield.

Drew doesn't have a noodle arm, but it isn't a strong arm, either. He's a technician, always has been. But he used to have more arm strength, and it's obvious he struggles to throw the ball anymore than maybe 50 yards down the field. I don't know what it proved by comparing him to Ken Stabler at the end of his career. The guy didn't take care of himself, and I'm sure anyone who watched him play then had no problem pointing that out.

When I was a kid, my YMCA football team won the championship and we were invited to be on the Kenny Stabler show in Houston. We went to Rice U to meet Kenny and some other players where they were going to do the filming. Everyone showed but Kenny...we were told he wasn't feeling well.

Other things than the party and drugs contribute. Genetics, sun and stress from kids or job. I'm almost 10 years older than Brees and have no major wrinkles, gray and receding hair line. Happy Birthday Drew!

This would be awesome if it were a troll. But since you are serious, it’s just sad.

The Snake also played in an era where the QB could actually get hit.

Stabler would be partying at fora/bama up to passing away. The snake loved his alcohol, woman, and drugs.. RIP Snake

If Stabler in CA Bay Area 1970s told me he was late because he was filming a scene for a local adult film producer friend and then went out partying after, I would totally believe him.
