We called this years ago when Simmons quit on the team and refused to play in the NIT

Coming from a legend who definitely has the skins on the wall, that should sting. And it should motivate. But for Simmons, it won’t. He’ll likely just sulk some more.

Jefferson at least tried… he just wasn’t that good.

I didn't think Simmons was that great while playing at LSU. Obviously I don't know a lot about basketball, but I can tell when someone is leaving all on the floor or not.

Yes they did. Then Jones pussied out of it.

Ben "Layup" Simmons should have stayed at LSU to develop a jump shot.

Great should never be used in the same sentence as Ben Simmons. Maybe, "very good".

When he came to Baton Rouge it was comparable to the second coming of Christ.

I wonder when Simmons is going to come back to LSU to finish his degree like Shaq did.

The Johnny Jones experiment messed Baw up, some. He was starting to come around, and be good, then he stuck his dick in a Kardashian. That is always the beginning of the end, no matter the level of greatness.

Tell that to Devin Booker, he seems to be doing just fine

no, Ben knows he can't shoot. He passed up a game-winner against Marquette early in the year, and then flat-out hid against Oklahoma. He even had Vitale screaming for him to engage.

I understand Simmons side about wanting out besides Embiid did throw him under the bus after game 7 last year. He did sign a contract though and should play through it until Philly trades him.

Ben. Can't. Shoot. That's really bad for the primary ball-handler. He's a liability in half-court sets, pure and simple. Everyone knows it. I can't believe Philly gave him a max contract, for a guy with a truck-sized flaw in his game.
