The Yankees caught Mariners closer Andres Munoz tipping pitches last night and relayed the signs home by doing jumping jacks to pull off a crazy comeback win...

I don't understand how it's cheating. If your opponent knows what you are doing, why don't you change what you are doing to make it less obvious.

Astros caught so much shite (and still do when they play the Yankees). What a fricking farce this has become

Its .not cheating because it is the Yankees and are protected by MLB. Just like when the Astros were busted. Yankees were caught doing the same thing and MLB covered it up

Viewing tendencies or catching patterns is NOT the same as stealing signs. To compare what the Astros did to what the Yankees did is downright ridiculous. For example, if the pitcher holds the ball differently in his glove for a certain type of pitch and you notice that, it is NOT remotely cheating. That is hardly the same as for example having someone in center field stands with binoculars looking at the catcher's signals.

This ain’t cheating. This is baseball. No MLB club should ever miss that their own pitcher is tipping.

I remember doing this in HS where we’d hang our arms/hands down our side when taking a lead for FB and bringing them up closer to our chest for off speed. They’re better at baseball than I am, but jumping around like that last second seems distracting. Maybe they weren’t swinging at the slider, so the last second jump/signal didn’t bother the hitter.

It’s part of the game. That said, when digital or other types of aids get brought in, it’s a major infraction. More obvious now because it’s impossible to pick off signals (there are none) and the baserunners have to pick up on grip and motion and things like that.

Cheating bastards. They should be stripped of every victory ever. And forever forward. It’s only fair.
