Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill filed another response in federal court Tuesday, once again calling for the SEC's lawsuit against LSU to be dismissed.

In her response, Murrill pushed back against the SEC's latest claims that LSU has lacked institutional control through its recruitment of former professional athletes.

Murrill called one of the conference's new allegations "demonstrably false" and argued that LSU has not violated SEC rules.

The filing also referenced LSU basketball coach Will Wade, who said on September 23 that the Tigers would follow the conference's eligibility requirements.

"We're going to abide by what the SEC tells us to abide by," Wade said.

Murrill argued that the SEC selectively used Wade's previous comments while ignoring his commitment to following conference rules.

The ongoing legal dispute began over LSU's pursuit of former professional athletes and has since expanded to include the basketball program.

Murrill continues to argue that the SEC has no grounds to pursue its lawsuit against LSU and is asking the federal court to dismiss the case.

Sankey is an agent of service for Ohio State, Indiana, and Michigan. Fire him now.

The SEC needs to be sued to force its hand on firing Sankey.

If I’m Sankey, I don’t think that this is the hill I would choose to die on. But then again, who knows what he is thinking, or if he even can still act rationally.

If congress flips the protect college sports act is dead. Sankey is praying it does so Scalise and Johnson are done. However, Kennedy is still powerful enough to ruin federal judges.

I posted when he started all this crap, he would be fired before anything happens to LSU. The SEC office will be moved and that “oversight board members replaced like you Tenner and Old Miss. no bias there.
They arbitrarily allowed Chambliss to play and peep was said, they let Bobby Hill make comments about throwing golf balls, nothing said or done by the league, so many more examples of bias. Those 2 university presidents don’t have an ax to grind, do they? Making a living off of reading people is how you get ahead in business, anyone can read what’s happening.
Sankey is done.

If you are not the one who started calling Tennessee’s coach Bobby Hill, I would like to know who did, so I can shake their hand. Hilarious!!

Murrill's IQ is only about 3X higher than the IQ of the idiot known as Greg Sankey.

Didn’t Arkansas just have a former professional player cleared to play basketball?

After last week, I hope he realizes that the world sees him as a puppet with an ego. If Lane or Wade did not break rules, then this seems like another attempt to not do what is in the best interest of the SEC.

Under his watch, the league folded to outside pressure from the Big 10 to add an additional conference game and received nothing in return for it. No SoS in playoff considerations, no additional money, no guaranteed spots just a big fat rollover. Now he’s standing idly by as the Big 10 waters down the best game in the world with a bloated playoff. Meanwhile his biggest concern is suing LSU so he can show the Big 10 that they can in fact run their own league without the NCAA- or anyone else (read SEC)
He’s an outclassed puppet

And once the "former NFL players" and possibly others win a favorable court settlement, the SEC will be paying money due to his poor judgment. Hopefully he gets canned at that time.

Hitler and his regime are responsible for at least 11 million deaths, including euthanizing people with disabilities, starving or executing over three million Russian soldiers, and exterminating six million Jews. Seems like a logical comparison.
