LSU received some encouraging injury news Wednesday night as the Tigers released their initial SEC injury report ahead of Saturday's matchup against Auburn.

Tight end Trey'Dez Green, who has missed recent games with a knee injury, was not listed on the report, a positive sign for his potential return to action this weekend.

Two other key LSU players were also absent from the report after suffering injuries in last Saturday's win over Mississippi State.

Defensive end Princewill Umanmielen left the game in the first quarter with an upper-body/head injury, while wide receiver Jackson Harris suffered an ankle injury. Harris told reporters earlier this week that he expected to be ready for Auburn.

The Tigers have four players ruled out for Saturday, while freshman defensive tackle Richard Anderson is listed as doubtful.

LSU:
OUT
LB #7 Whit Weeks
S #10 Dashawn Spears
WR #15 Phillip Wright III
LB #26 Charles Ross II

DOUBTFUL
DT #88 Richard Anderson

Auburn:
OUT
OL #71 Tai Buster
TE #85 Hunter Herring

QUESTIONABLE
DL #99 Saint Farrior

Both teams will release updated injury reports Thursday and Friday ahead of Saturday's game.

If he can run route you have to play him. Even if he's in as a decoy. Make the Auburn defense gameplan against him.

Suit up for Auburn, but dont play unless needed. Got an extra week coming up to get healthy for the final stretch.

Even he's not on the injury report then he's healthy!

If he’s healthy — like better than 80% —- he needs to play. We need every win we can get to still be in the CFP

You play on a knee at 81% hoss. Get real Juan

Yeah, I don't agree with this. I don't think we need him for Auburn, especially if he isn't %100. I'd rather they sit him against Auburn, get him back into the flow during the bye week, and have him at %100 for Bama and Texas.

I keep seeing posts on an Auburn LB starter not being available. But nothing listed. Fake News?

He's no longer with the team so he's not listed on the injury report.

Is that Xavier Atkins their best defensive player who was obviously a starting LB and has been dismissed from the team?

An 0 - 6 Auburn would still be dangerous for us. It's Auburn.

In the fall they pampered him. Now some of you still want to pamper him. Let him play full speed ahead.

Stick him out there and let him prove to Auburn he is nothing but a decoy until he proves, when needed, he is not!!

Save him for BAMA. So not play him unless really needed. Use him as a decoy could be useful.

Sit TreDez….a couple of weeks further healing will do wonders for him. We will need him for the stretch coming up.

We need him for Auburn! Lose that one and the others don’t matter much

Stretch coming up? The rest of the season is the stretch!

No, you don’t sit him against Auburn if he can play. LSU loses to Auburn then you won’t have to worry about a “stretch”. And yes Auburn can easily beat LSU if LSU doesn’t bring it.
