CBS Sports' Brandon Marcello has reported that the SEC will announce each team's three permanent rivals and all opponents in the new nine-game football schedule next Tuesday.

The permanent rivals will be referred to as "annual opponents," and will be reviewed every four years, according to Marcello.

Let me guess…..

LSU: Alabama, 1972 Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles

Alabama: Eastern Michigan, Middle Tennessee State, Ball State

Texas: Evangel Christian High School, Redemptorist High School, SW Missouri State

I think it's ends up being Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M... Though I wish it would be Miss St or one of the names teams.

Bama* Teams

I agree. No way Alabama is a permanent opponent. The Tide will get Auburn and Tennessee and in no universe will Alabama allow LSU on the schedule under that scenario.

Alabama, Ole Miss, and A&M.

Subtract one of those and insert Florida

I’d vote for Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn. Florida a close runner up to Auburn. Grew up in the 80s and understand the A&M history but that game doesn’t excite me year in/out.

Alabama will have:

Eastern Michigan
Middle Tennessee State
Ball State

They will be added as “honorary” SEC teams for football only.

Personally I’m hoping at least Florida or Auburn being one of them. Ole Miss is a given, and lastly I do hope it’s Texas A&M weird MFers or not.
Being in the Texas fans minds and hearts every year west of Louisiana with this fertile recruiting ground is really important.

Somehow UF is going to get an additional home game vs LSU out of this.

So the issue with LSU is we don't have an end of season "traditional" Rivalry game. Neither Arkansas, Oklahoma , or Mizzou. They might just rotate us with Oklahoma and Arkansas as the season ending game.but don't think so.I don't think it will be Mizzou so either Oklahoma or Arkansas. I'd like for it to be Arky but think it will be Oklahoma. Other 2 will be Alabama and Ole Miss if they add a third will be the Aggies

We did with Arkansas, then it got less competitive, so now it's A & M. The SEC is looking to make the games more profitable.

Texas A&M’s season ending game will be UTx
