Report: LSU DL Coach Bo Davis To Join The Saints Coaching Staff

Luke Johnson with NOLA.com reported Thursday morning that LSU defensive line coach Bo Davis is reportedly leaving Brian Kelly's staff to be the New Orleans Saints' new defensive line coach.

Davis joined LSU last offseason after spending three seasons at Texas. He has coached in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Lions.

Davis played for the Tigers in the early 1990s and served as a graduate assistant with the football program from 1995-97. He was a member of the strength and conditioning staff when LSU won the 2003 national championship.

College football has to get a grip on this NIL shite or what’s the difference between it and the shitty NFL? Hell I’d be a pro coach too if all my time recruiting mattered none because someone offered a nicer car or some bullshite. Then after recruiting high school you get to re-recruit your own players to keep them from hitting the portal. It’s way out of hand. Saban was smart to retire.

I honestly don't see way in which coaching in college is better than the NFL with today's transfer portal and NIL. NFL is more money, everyone's on contract and there's and offseason. No way I would pick college over NFL
